Our bowlers looked pretty tame later in their second innings.
It'd be no surprize to see Siddle and Hazlewood may make way for Starc & Patto.

3rd Test;

AUS 179 (M. Labuschagne 74, D. Warner 61, J. Archer 6-45, S. Broad 2-32) v ENG

Some blokes need to grow a spine.

Love ya Uzzie, but lazy leg glances and other type dismissals are staring to piss me off.

Shameful collapse. FMD.

3rd Test update...

AUS 179 (M. Labuschagne 74, D. Warner 61, J. Archer 6-45, S. Broad 2-32) & 246 (M. Labuschagne 80, B. Stokes 3-56, J. Archer 2-40, S. Broad 2-52) v ENG 67 (J. Hazlewood 5-30, P. Cummins 3-23, J. Pattinson 2-9) & 9/362 (B. Stokes 135*, J. Root 77, J. Denly 50, J. Hazlewood 4-85, N. Lyon 2-114)

Actually love these tests where the wicket and the ball is doing plenty. Much better to watch the batsmen work hard for runs. It’s what I call ‘sorting out the sultanas from the rabbit shit’.

It’s all well and good making runs when the ball is dead straight, on a flat wicket, using a ‘super’ bat, to thump a ball across a fast outfield. But as soon as it swings, seams, bounces, and makes you uncomfortable...”I’M OUTTA HERE!!”

Hats off to those who hang around and guts it out. Marnus Labuschangne...take a bow =D>

EDIT: What a f****** disaster. Pathetic stuff by our captain and senior players.

Did Jofra limp off with a hammie? edit: C7 just said "aggravated hamstring". edit #2: wtf does C7 know? He's bowling.

This game is still alive and well. We need another hunnert to put it away.

As bad as the non LBW decision was, the game was lost through poor captaincy and equally poor bowling as much as Stokes won it with sublime, controlled yet brutal hitting.

WTF was Paine thinking leaving the field out on the second last delivery every over?
WTF was Paine thinking reviewing Cummins LBW?

The Aussie quicks bowled very poorly and Paine gifted Stokes the chance to get off strike every time...

Well, I’ve had time to calm down after staying up to watch that utter bullshit to the end.

WHAT A PACK OF f****** IMBECILIC c**** WE ARE.

BOWLING SHORT SHIT A LA BRETT LEE AT HIS ‘BEST’. BOWL A f****** YORKER YA DUMB f****. ABOUT THE ONLY ONE I SAW ACTUALLY GOT A WICKET. f***sticks.

Can’t really have a go at Marcus Harris because that was one hardarse catch...but FMD, WHAT IN THE BLUE f*** WAS THAT FROM LYON???? THAT WAS f****** PUTRID. SUCH A SIMPLE, BASIC f****** TAKE TO RUN OUT LEACH, BUT YOU LOOKED LIKE AN ABSOLUTE CLOWN THAT MADE PHIL TUFNELL LOOK LIKE A GENIUS. c***!

THEN THERE IS TIM PAINE. YOU f****** MUPPET!!!! WHY IN f**** NAME DID YOU WASTE OUR LAST REFERRAL????? WHAT A f****** DUMB c***. REGARDLESS OF THE UMPIRE’S MISTAKE, YOU BURNT OUR LAST CHANCE TO WIN THIS GAME. UNFORGIVEABLE. HE SHOULD BE SACKED AND ALEX CAREY BROUGHT IN IMMEDIATELY - AND HE CAN f****** CAPTAIN AS WELL.

THAT WAS DISGUSTING YOU c****.

I really feel for Marnus Labuschagne. He busted his guts to give us what should have been a winnable total. Those other f****** ought to hang their heads in shame.

I have witnessed many f****** close losses over the years. Ever since 1981 when Ian Botham and Bob Willis f***** us - which included the Rod Marsh / Dennis Lillee betting on us to lose the un-loseable Test. The Border / Thomson last wicket stand that fell 3 runs short. The Brett Lee / Kasprowicz heroics that fell 1 run short. The Tim May / Craig McDermott stand that also fell 1 run short. And there were a few others. f****** chokers. c****.

In saying all that, Ben Stokes was f****** incredible. Where is that sort of cricketer in our midst? f****** nowhere. We try to find an all rounder, but come up with peanuts like Shane Watson and Mitch Marsh. Stokes was just phenomenal. Intelligent. I’d guarantee you if we are in that situation (requiring 60 to win with one wicket remaining), the senior batsman would just go into their shell and try to farm the strike with singles. Probably get to with a scoring shot of victory, and get out. Stokes showed what should be done. BELT THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF CRAP DELIVERIES, and make the bowlers and fielders panic.

Well played Ben Stokes. The best performance I have ever witnessed.

To our blokes...GET f*****. (Except for Marnus Labuschagne)

You probably put it better than I could have Ben.

I deleted a post here,thinking I was too severe with just 3 lines,so I put up a new one.

There are some Com0lete Dills over in the West, suggesting Mitch Marsh should come into the team,.......

Yep, guaranteed if we need someone to stand up, he will surrender his wicket, or bowl absolute f****** tripe. Nothing more certain.

For all his experience, under the pressure of the circumstance, Lyon took his eye off the ball. As did Smith when he got hit. #-o

The fast bowlers just tried to blast them out, in the process handing Stokes deliveries to hit. Whatever happened to variations of pace?

Re the umpiring, the review system shows they need a referral to SpecSavers. How many did they get wrong? That last one was clear and obviously incorrect and had me out of my chair thinking he'd got him.
