That I do agree with.

If he did recover,it wasn’t Archer he was going to replace,if he replaced anyone at all.

Time for Warner to move down the order or out of the team.

And hopefully we get Stokes out for a golden duck in both innings!

Oh Rats,he’s out for 211.Great Innings that deserved a Not Out to go with it.Generally well received apart from a couple of hundred nitwits!

He practically gifted his Wicket to Joe Root, who’s got the Grandkids something to tell them about,in 30 or so years. Not once, but twice.

8 - 464 with a good contribution from Tim Paine,with the bat,.......at last!

Declaration can’t be too far away.

Good stuff from Haze yesterday on a limited day’s play.

An absolute pearler to get Roy at a crucial time just before Stumos.Great delivery to get rid of Joe Root as well.

Does anyone know if there has been an hour or so addded to the next 2 days’ play?

I think they usually add extra if substantial time lost. How much? Dunno, but we'll know when they start tonight I s'pose.

England looking forward to another win if this slaughter keeps up.

4/44, 240 lead. #-o

Too many lefties? They're averaging 20. Righties are at 50+. Take Smith out of those numbers and they'd be less than 30, maybe less than 20?

Credit where it’s due. Broad and Archer both bowled beautifully...but yes a clear weakness with so many lefties...

Ship steadied, somewhat. Smith to the rescue again.
Now 4/131
327 ahead with 6 wickets in hand

As always,Ben can give the greater details.

But the Poms are 2/18,chasing 383 after we declared at 6/186,after Smithy and Matt Wade steadied the ship.

Pat Cummins made some early inroads into the England batting lineup, turning Burns inside out and ripping a beauty past Joe Root.

You’d like to think this time, the Poms are Rooted. But after last time, nothing is certain. It’s up to our boys this time To Get The Job Done!

It’s The Ashes Fellas!

No last minute heroics from Stokes or anyone else thanks!

Burns 81, J. Root 71, J. Buttler 41, J. Hazlewood 4-57), P. Cummins 3-60, M. Starc 3-80) & 2/18 (P. Cummins 2-8)

No way England can win this. Over 360 runs to get on the final day is impossible. We just need 8 wickets.

Warner has got to go. FMD.

Smith is a f*ckin' maestro. =D> =D> =D> What an unusual batting performance that was! :D

Enter N. Lyon. :-$ This is your time. Day 5. Leach managed a bit of turn so go to it!

Starc will likely clean up the tail [-o< if the rest of the "batsmen" can be dealt with. The 4th innings at Leeds was well covered until the last 90 minutes. Take nuthin' f'granted this time.

Paine will have also learned a few clues re: defending a total and setting fields to manage who is facing.

I'm glad I'm not working tomorrow. O:)
