You’d think we’re 2/1 down in the series.

That would have to be one of the worst performances I’ve seen from an Australian team in decades. All
Self inflicted idiocy.

Field placements and bowling plans are just absolutely idiotic. Playing into their hands. It is staggering. Shithouse execution all round. Embarrassing.

It all started with the selection of Warner. Only two scores above 50 in his past 25 innings. GAGF.

Hope they get what’s coming to them. May it be sunny for the next 3 days and they get completely annihilated for their idiocy.

And boy,did it Piss down today, actually yesterday now.

Whilst the Poor old Poms Ashes dreams were literally going down the Old Trafford Drain,I was busy listening to the 12th Man,listening Richie forget to wind the window up in the Vitesse. And it wasn’t even his Car.

A bit of Commentary Box hijacking by Bill and Tony,Max and Kenny Sutcliffe going AWOL from the Sunday Wired World of Sports, featuring a story on Tight Bloody Footy Shorts, with expert commentary by Dr Ray Lamp, specialising in a fashion statement, with contributions by Harry,Dipper,The Rat and the dearly departed Spud.

Hope he found his way to Richie and Tony ok.

Often wondered if Ernie Carroll popped by to voice Floor Manager Zippy.

Ashes retained 🕺🏻

Fantastic stuff. The rain ruined a possibility of seeing another Marsh century, and Green helping him secure a winning lead, and then bowling them out on the last day.

Could have been 3/1.

Oh well, 2/1 will do vingertje

The bleating coming from the other side of the world is too much to bear.
You’d think there had never before been a Test match washed away and that the cliched bleak English weather had never assisted the home team’s endeavors previously.
This exact circumstance presented for England 10 years ago and they rejoiced unapologetically.
Like so much in this series the English are very selective in memory.
England has shamelessly ordered pitches to suit a very particular style of play.
Ben Stokes has won every toss and thus had the choice to play the matches to their best advantage.
In defeat they have claimed to be moral victors. They have applied the letter of the law and the spirit of the game selectively to suit their actions.
They have excused their own foibles and errors as the quest to entertain.
And when they haven’t been booing and abusing the Australians, they have whinged relentlessly.
Perhaps this is where we should find our enjoyment this morning.

Overall, a pretty good day for Australia. Could have been a hell of a lot better had they not dropped 5 bloody catches 🤬 - one of them Brook who was on single digits at the time.

Need to pile on the runs on Day 2 and 3 if possible…

On a lighter note, there’s not many pigeons at the ground.

In fact, there’s only one of ‘em.

Bill’s got the rest of ‘em!

Quite safe from Tony’s blades!

Murph gets pinged for LBW!

Bad Lyck there,Mate!Bit of a wait now, before you get another chance to post a Well Deserved 50.

Great Innings though, which puts a few up the order to Absolute Shame!

Bugger!

Patty threw his Wicket away going the Tonk,so the unexpected lead of 12 is pretty slim, when a few extra tomorrow morning may have made things really interesting.

We MUST keep things Tight and make them earn every run, whilst hoping to bag our Wickets the old fashioned way.

Stay tuned,……

Outstanding stuff by ‘Dan’ Murphy! Gee he looked very good out there with the bat.

While the decision proved to be correct, I reckon the umpire is just pulling the trigger based on the appeal rather than him thinking it’s out. The delay and the hesitation on putting the finger up suggests he had doubt. The same thing happened with Cummins (proved to be not out).

On other note, how lucky was Steve Smith when on 43 (going for his 44th run) when Bairstow cocked up again. That was an outstanding decision by the third umpire. Hats off to him!

It’s bad enough when Aussie Rules Field Umpires guess, but in Cricket,it’s worse!

Any Doubt,not out!

Up to the Fielding team then,if they want to go for it!

Well, this test match is delicately poised thanks to a fantastic opening partnership between Khawaja and Warner thus far. Require another 249 for victory… but one feels these two need to get quite a few more to be a realistic threat.

But the rain has arrived…

They might do it too,if Wood’s up the creek.

The new ball isn't far away. If they can reach that and not lose wickets facing it...

The new ball? These charlatans change the ball every 7 overs! Effing joke. I have never seen such bullshit in all my life watching test cricket.

7 overs into our innings, they were calling for a change of ball. Seriously, WTAF! The ball smashes into Khawaja’s helmet. Let’s change the ball. Hahaha, what a crock of shit. It’s happened the entire series. They should look into how many times it has happened. I’ve lost count…
