The war in the Ukraine is wearing off on the journos.

The war at Lords has grown stumps! The PM's are getting involved. Albanese "same old Aussies...always winning" :)

Head claiming Bairstow said (at the time) he'd've backed the same attempt he tried in the first innings.

Athertons bottle top, the run out of the Kiwi, claims of "not in the spirit", saying no beers with the Ozzies soon, Bairstows attempt and Head calling his response, Marylebone members going orf and going out, Stokes claiming the umpires had already moved towards their new positions (watch..that's garbage & BS of the highest order).

Great to see and read the dirty laundry wiping the frown to the other side of their hypocritical faces!

The tale of 2 wicketkeepers.

One has fumbled and dropped a number of catches, missed a few stumpings, stood there like a statue while an edged ball goes a few inches to his left or right, thrown his wicket away, and then hilariously wanders out of his crease and gets stumped by his opposite number.

The other has taken some ripper catches, been clean and tidy all along, got a few stumpings - including the hilarious one, and made some valuable runs.

It’s fair to say one keeper has contributed significantly to his team’s 2 nil down situation, while the other has significantly contributed to his team’s 2 nil up situation.

WOW

Mitch Marsh, take a fkng bow!! =D> =D> =D>

That is one of the best centuries I’ve ever seen. Incredible innings. Absolutely smoked ‘em.

And lol at Jonny Bairstow

Thank f*** he is keeping for them. More dropped catches. Set the scene for Joe Root to grass a few too.

But Mitch Marsh… stunning knock

All out for 263,when the pitch(and Wood)looked like rolling us for 150 or less.

Let’s rip into ‘em!

And Stokes the fkng hypocrite (talking about how 'fair' him and the poms are) and then he blatantly touches the boundary whilst fielding the ball (at the same moment) yet he fails to tell the umps it was 4 (as nearly every cricketer I`ve ever seen does) and we get given 2 runs. ****** CHEAT. :-"

Be funny if this test comes down to a couple of runs in it, either way, I`m sure then it might be highlighted. :-k

I dunno if this bouncer bullshit is the smartest thing. The only way you’re going to get them out is from a miss hit. We had them 6/131, they ended up with 237. This may cost us in the end.

And ffs, make a call on Warner. He’s a complete rabbit in England, so f*** him off.

17 tests, 33 innings, averages 25.

Shitful.

Agree on both.

Didn’t see much after 9 switched the Tennis on and then switched it back, the Idiots!I thought only 7 gave people the absolute Shits with that.

But Seriously, why do they insist on bowling the shit they do to Stokes, especially when they’re supposedly trying to establish a big 1st innings lead? That almost went out the window, when they threw Murph to the wolves trying to get Stokes to miscue one.

We got Stokes in the end,but it almost became a complete disaster,if we lost the 1st Innings lead.

Up to Marsh and Co to establish another partnership and give us a big enough lead to sit on if it rains,or ready to defend if it doesn’t rain enough.

The Latter won’t happen.Warner could be getting frequent King Pairs and he’d still be safe, right up until his supposed Planned Retirement Parade at the SCG,in The New Year’s Test!

Going to be an interesting day. I don’t think we have enough on the board, however, this test has proven it isn’t easy to score runs. Only 4 scores above 40 for the match - Marsh, Stokes, Head and Khawaja.

If the bowlers bowl sensibly, they’re a chance. Attack the stumps and just short of a length to bring the slips into play. There is movement in the pitch and in the air.

If they deploy the bouncer tactic, game over.

Boland out, Neser in. Boland is not having the same effect on pommy wickets with the Duke ball. Neser is the logical replacement. And batting fairly as well. Can`t rest Hazelwood too much.

Yeah, Neser is a must from here on in.

I would like to see a bold move for the next test (I say bold, but I wouldn’t hesitate)…

Warner OUT, Head to open
Green in, and bat at #5

So the line up would be…

Khawaja
Head
Labuschagne
Smith
Green
Marsh
Carey
Neser
Starc
Cummins
Murphy (or Hazlewood)

Long batting line up with plenty of bowling options.

Makes too much sense mate, which means it won’t happen.

You know who has 7 Tests left on his Farewell tour, unless he thinks he’s the John Farnham of Cricket?

Yep, if they want to jeopardise out great chance to retain the Ashes on their soil, then keep picking the pickle.

Todd Murphy scored more runs than Warner in the last Test.

Hang your heads in shame. At least one of the top order bats should have gone on and made a big score after getting a start.
