Absolutely incredible. Unfortunately, I didn’t see it live (fell asleep after losing a couple of wickets).

When I woke, I had a look at the scorecard. I literally stared at it for a minute or two - disbelieving what I was seeing. Kept saying… that must be a misprint “can’t be 201… surely…”

Completely stunned.

I’ve seen the highlights. Bonkers. Would love to see ball by ball some day…

I think this innings will be talked about in the same manner of Dean Jones’ 210 at ‘Madras’ all those years ago in the Tied Test.

Possibly. But considering how long Jonesy’s Innings took,if you watch that Ball by Ball, you could be reaching for the smelling salt, water and fan to keep you going for Hours!

Yep, true. Test match conditions are much worse - day time, belting sun, searing heat, high humidity, long hours of concentration etc.

With this, the heat and humidity was there. But the constant thrashing of the bat would have been energy sapping. Mind you, he had to field in the heat of the day too.

Thank heavens whatever he had to rush home to got resolved quickly.

To me,it was “Yeah,ok.If it’s urgent family business,fair enough!”

If it was me,I would have told the family to wait until the Team had finished up in India,NO MATTER WHAT!
