What in the blue f*** are administrators thinking when they came up with the rule in DRS that the “top of the stumps is the stump, and not the top of the bails”?
There are just no words for this that adequately describes the imbecility of it. Seriously, whoever is responsible for this “definition” needs to FRO immediately.
It’s like saying when a batsman is clean bowled… “oh.. the ball hit the top of the bail, therefore it’s not out because it didn’t hit the stump”
