A super Draft
A super Draft
Here is the top 30 from the Super Draft. Doesnt actually look that super, suggesting that this draft might not be as good as we hoped.
The bolded players are the dud pick ups, which I reckon counts for half of the blokes taken (Reynolds was taken 31) and a couple of others who I havent highlighted only came good in the last year or so.
Basically, Im saying that all these clubs want to hold onto their picks, but at the end of the day, there is probably a 22 year at another club who already has the nouse of big league footy and would be better off getting them rather than an 18 year old kid.
Priority 1 Luke Hodge Geelong Falcons Hawthorn

Was just about to right an abusive message back at you til I saw your last sentence.jimmyc1985 wrote:What the hell? You highlighted Shane Harvey as a dud? There goes your credibility down the toilet right there; he'll win a Chas that kid. Just starved of opportunity.
Unless.............YOU ARE SHANE HARVEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where are the mods on this one? Well, I hope Cole doesn't turn out to be a dud!
You've got Seaby as a dud, thats pretty harsh. As mentioned, Armstrong is a premiership player, and Lewis Roberts-Thompson has played most games in the last two years in a team that has made the GF twice.
Also not sure if you're right on Gardiner, or right to exclude Kelly.

That doesnt make him a dud player it makes them a dud team, they couldnt develop him probably, not too mention he might of struggled due to his Bali experience.Rossoneri wrote:But he didnt win it with the team that picked him up. So it was a dud pick up by them.nomolos wrote:Steven Armstrong is a premiership player, you cant add him to that dud list, probably the same with Seaby albeit he did nothing in the Granny.
Nup, they won it in 1999 with the likes of David Spriggs, Ezra Poyas, Jason Blake, Mark Ainley, Jeremy Dukes and Nicholas Stone.Gossy7 wrote:
Did Sandringham win the premiership that year? Judd.... Ball...
For the record, Chris Judd and Luke Ball didn't even make the TAC Cup Team of The Year that year, yet Charlie Gardiner did.

Isn't that because they were forced to play for their school teams in lieu of their TAC teams? I know Ball was the captain of Xavier that year, and Judd went to Caulfield, so i guess they probably just had no opportunities to play for their TAC Cup teams.BenDoolan wrote:

Makes sense I guess, otherwise, I wouldn't have a clue!jimmyc1985 wrote:Isn't that because they were forced to play for their school teams in lieu of their TAC teams?
