Bradley on crows radar

A PLAYER that Adelaide was desperate to secure four years ago is suddenly being offered to the club. And he will cost no more than a low draft pick.

Kepler Bradley, the discarded Essendon tall the Crows wanted to take at pick No. 14 in the 2003 national draft, wants to reignite his career at Adelaide.

"We think Adelaide would be a good fit for Kepler," Bradley's manager Colin Young said yesterday.

"You look through its list and there is a shortage of talls and pace, and we think Kepler can offer both of those ingredients to the Crows. Certainly it is a club which appeals to him."

Drafted by Essendon with pick No. 6 in the 2003 draft, West Australian Bradley was delisted by the Bombers on Monday after 49 games in four seasons.

The 199cm Bradley was unable to hold down a regular position at Windy Hill. His kicking and decision-making also let him down.

However Young said Bradley, 21, had worked on his kicking with a biomechanic since the end of the season and that his best football was in front of him.

Fremantle attempted to trade for Bradley in the exchange period. However the deal, for a fourth-round draft pick, collapsed when the clubs could not agree terms in the final 15 minutes.

The Dockers remain interested in Bradley and will consider him at the national draft next month.

CROWS chairman Bill Sanders was yesterday reappointed to the club's board for another year.
Would be funny if Adelaide get him before Freo. Hope this forces Freo's hand and make them use a 3rd or 4th round on him, out of fear of not getting him.

Hmmmmmmm, hard to believe we are talking about Kepler Bradley in this way?

Craig's apparent philosophy might suit Kepler. Craig's game is essentially a defensive one with the focus being on the smaller players in the midfield and flanks. Adelaide's KPPs are apparently less of a focus for Craig, and they're typically mediocre players with high fitness levels who can play at either end of the ground, i.e. Perrie (delisted), McGregor and Gill. Kepler could work as another Ken McGregor/Ian Perrie type.

But take the entire thing with a grain of salt. This article is coming from KB's manager, and they always spin shit. Nothing in there that says Adelaide themselves had shown interest.

Essendon4Eva see there's no need to stress, Kepler will find a new home and we didn't have to look like tarts who'll take any rubbish during trade week.

I would have preferred to look like a club who is strong and wont bend over backwards just to get raped.

I hope Adelaide to go for him, and the Freo are forced to use their 3rd round pick on him.

Freo stuffed it up trade week. If they were fair dinkum they would not have pulled their number 40 pick at the last moment and hoping they would get us to take something stupid.

If Adeliade beat them to it then it will be a hard lesson for Freo to learn from.

Very true.

You can never trust a club that has a jumper that resembles something like a past its date licorice all-sort.

That's my Nickname for the Crows.

The LICORICE ALL SORTS!

If they pick him up,perhaps WEST ADELAIDE might find him handy. To win a couple of games more than this year.
