Stats prove that home ground advantage usually applies to umpiring as well. 50,000 Bomber fans carry a lot of persuasion.

The maggots will be hammered by the Geish over the next week regarding high tackles, but at the end of the day, a high tackle is a high tackle. I cannot see how they can get around this unless they get more tough overall with staging. Correct me if I am wrong, but I do not think that there is anything in the rules to outlaw staging. I think that they introduced something around a fine, but it has never been applied. Besides, a fine is useless during the course of a game.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

Goodes to miss 6 weeks due to a quad tear.

Will be interesting to see how Sydney cope without him.

I have seen us do this and still be on the arse end of the free kick count way too many times to agree old mate
Was this in the "Matty Knights Era" when the entire side was told just to run as fast as possible and not worry about the end result?

It's been less than a week since BJG joined the Red and Black, but already the world is a far better place.

Adelaide smashing Geelong 95 - 34 Geelong can't get it into their 50 taking big risks to do so and getting cut off everytime

Tom Lonergan taps a ball over the line while Walker trying to kick from mid air and misses the kick but tries to claim the goal anyway..... umpire was about to signal a goal then the field umpire comes in and says i think it was touched then the goal umpire says "yeah I do too" lol got no idea

another goal to Adelaide 102-34

behind to Hawkins 102 - 35

GWS get their first ever win 94-67 over Gold Coast.

My tipping is taking a hammering so far today...I hope the trend doesn't continue all day.

Brett Ratten has to be the most inflexible coach ever appointed. Does he ever make a positional change? Such a clueless bastard when it comes to trying anything different.

Oh how I love reading the Carlton forum when they lose...
Playing against a team with virtually no ruckman and we cannot beat a second-rate team.

Soft front-runners, bucket loads of passengers & squibbs !!

Tell-tale signs from the Essendon match and we have been exposed.

Dumb decisions from too many players, forget the premiership, we are not serious contenders, we will only win it if we do a Bradbury !!

Time to start setting up a couple of good trades because we have too many players who won't do the basics. No-one wants to chase, tackle, defend & apply pressure.

Gibbs is a non-event, I've run out of patience with him, send him to Adelaide and get Dangerfield in return.

Waite is a fly-by-nighter, too inconsistent & lairy.

I could go on and on but why bother, I'm angry & disappointed by tonights match and it really sh1ts me badly that we want to play like this.

Its now a habit, the other teams know it too !!

Jamieson to FF was the only change he made on the night by the looks of it.

Went along tonight and was surrounded by Scum so ended up having a fantastic night out. Some of the crap I was hearing was highly amusing. Every free kick which was dubious against them warmed my heart once the rage came out. Credit to Saints! Deserved the win. GO CROWS ON SUNDAY! Going to that game too!

Here is what the wankers at the c*** Football Club forum think of us at the moment;
Yes, I saw this against us and tonight again against the Wet Toast, a couple of things to note besides the dubious tactics of the hack footballer Hocking.

Davey pushing blokes in the back.
Not even subtle the guy does it blatantly with two straight locked arms and doesn't get pinged. FFS are the umpires serious, at one stage a defender marked with the flight and Davey in one of the most dangerous acts you can do on a footy field pushed the guy square in the back sending him head first into the ground. Davey wasn't even in the marking contest but not even a 50 was awarded to the defender. The player could have been catapulted head first into someone coming the other way!

Tunneling marking players.
They are doing it in such a way that it looks accidental but the number of blokes I see landing on their ar5e or back when marking against the Bumber's cannot be an accident!

Tackling illegally.
If anyone gets a chance look at the replay take a look at the tackle of Lovett-Murray on Priddis and you will be disgusted. The commentators pumped up Dean Robinson as "The Weapon", a specialist coach training players in martial arts. But watch the replay, you see Lovett-Murray lock his leg around Priddis' and slam him head first into the ground Jujitsu style. It is a disgrace and the AFL must investigate!
LOL, it makes me laugh how they squeal about the Carrazzo "incident" and how there is a "conspiracy" to maim every player in the opposition. What a pack of moaning, spineless, chicken shits. Soft cocks of the highest order (in the Bryce Gibbs mould).
