In 1972 Essendon's senior and reserves full-forwards had an unusual characteristic in common. What was it?

Is this part of the quiz or don't you know?
If it's the latter, you can ask the next question.

Rod McFarlane. He was our star recruit in 1971 and played the first four games in the seniors. Unfortunately, he turned out to be a bit of a dud but doing a knee certainly didn't help. He topped the reserves competition goal kicking in 1972 without playing a senior game (not surprising as Geoff Blethyn was on fire, kicking 107 for the season) but then left the club.

Thanks for this GoalSneak! As you can tell, I love EFC history. Glad you are able to contribute significantly in this area.
And Rosso, I had no idea. You can ask the next question....

Yes, I've got it. Been quite a while since I picked it up though. Also have a book called "Those Magnificent Men" which lists every player that ever played for EFC from 1897 - 1987. It gives a dossier on each one. Fantastic read.
I'll ask the next question while I'm here.....
Who am I?
![Arrow ](./images/smilies/icon_arrow.gif)
I am a second round selection who has played over 50 games and kicked over 50 goals
![Arrow ](./images/smilies/icon_arrow.gif)
I am a best & fairest winner
![Arrow ](./images/smilies/icon_arrow.gif)
My debut was worthy of a Rising Star nomination
![Arrow ](./images/smilies/icon_arrow.gif)
My first goal in AFL is a very memorable event

What was Dick Reynolds reasoning for not moving Bill Brittingham (sp?) from FF in the 1948 GF?

He kept getting the ball - only that he couldn't f****** convert (kicked f****** 2.12). I think Reynolds just kept hoping he'd slot a few just by the law of averages?
Anyway, he never played full forward ever again. Some plodder by the name of John Coleman came along the following year.

The old man tells me that BB was moved to full back where he could hit a sixpence at 50 metres or should I say, yards.
Dad was sitting in a special section at the "G" for ex Essendon players for the GF and they almost wrecked the place when we drew with Melbourne.
