In the end,5 Alive's Beloved EAST PERTH made a great play for him,had their Coach give GLOWING REFERENCES about his character and then he left them not even half way through the season.Played maybe 3 games for 'em!

Lovey was my fave player by a mile.... but after everything that has happened i doubt that Hirdy will go down that path.

No we shouldn't. And heres why:

A) I'm from Victoria, I dont give a rats ass about a competition accross the otherside of the country same as you couldn't give a shit about my passion for the VFL.
B) I follow the AFL, the blokes I support play in the AFL not the WAFL.
C) You harp on about how we steal your players, well duh. We have the most money so of course they'll come.
D) The WAFL has hardly been hard done by the AFL. Before the Eagles were formed the VFL was significantly considering applications from several WA clubs to join the VFL and make it a truely national competition giving the WAFL several teams in the comp. Your idiotic WAFL administration jumped ahead of those clubs, formed one side and funnelled all your best players into the Eagles therefore lowering the standard of the WAFL and as such relegating it to second place behind the VFL. That was YOUR decision. Not the VFL/AFL's.
