I hear Swan's on four of some similar thing

Re: Franklin
If this is the case, then why aren't they named and shamed as per AFL's own policy?
Swan hasn't been detected as yet. I believe he tweeted something last year to the effect "Stop sending out drug testers at 6am. It's starting to piss me off. What's wrong with the afternoon? You can't catch me anyway. Too clever". He got into strife over those comments.

My understanding is they've been club-detected, not AFL detected - hence the AFL (who reportedly know about it) can shut up and protect the integrity of the reigning Brownlow Medallist.BenDoolan wrote:If this is the case, then why aren't they named and shamed as per AFL's own policy?

Re: Franklin
I gather from all these hints that Franklin is being ALLEGED (we're not spreading rumours, honest) to be involved in drugs again? This one did the rounds a few years back?
Proud member of 'Cult Hird'.

He has missed games because of a very obvious hamstring injury.bomberdonnie wrote:Pretty sure he hasn't missed games for it before thoughrobrulz5 wrote:Haven't heard this one before.

my Hawks supporting boss told me a few days ago he got a call from his "connected" mate to tell him it's entirely true, and that they are waiting for Andy D to come home and work it out

for the record a 3rd strike constitutes a minimum 12 week suspension.... doesn't seem like much really does it

Should be 12 for first offence 24 for second and life for third in my not so humble opinionJazz_84 wrote:for the record a 3rd strike constitutes a minimum 12 week suspension.... doesn't seem like much really does it
If you are stupid enough to get caught taking drugs a third time you don't deserve to play the game

Re: Franklin
what exactly needs to be worked out? if he's broken the rules - then shouldn't he be serving the penalty.Jazz_84 wrote:my Hawks supporting boss told me a few days ago he got a call from his "connected" mate to tell him it's entirely true, and that they are waiting for Andy D to come home and work it out
Or perhaps there are different rules for different players?
