Next year they are likely to be even lower - If you look at the age profile of the club, many of their key performers are at the end of their careers
Age (* = birthday later this year so will add 1 year)
34 - McVeigh
33 - Grundy
32 - Jack
31 - Franklin, Smith, Kennedy
29 - Sinclair*, Rampe
27 - Menzel*, Reid*
26 - Naismith*, Parker*, Fox
25 - Lloyd*, Cunningham*, Thurlow
24 - Aliir, Jones, Cameron
23 - Hewett*, Rose, Heeney, Papley
22 - Melican*, Mills, Dawson, Clarke
21 - Ronke*, Florent
When 7 of your starting 22 are 30+, and there don't seem to be ready replacements you are in trouble. These players are starting to break down from cumulative injuries and wear and tear (Kennedy seems about cooked but still wills himself onward).
Mills and Heeney were supposed to be mainly midfield this year - but needed to stay back and forward to cover injuries.
