Bret Thornton wants to move...

to preferably Hawthorn.
after being offered a new contract by carlton he has rejected it and ask to be traded to hawthorn. Wether they'll take him in or not is another question, is he worth a look? 3rd tall or a possibly capable CHB?

Capable and Thorton do not go together.

I agree completely with the other sentiments in this thread; i've always thought of Thornton as a very ordinary player. When Luke Livingston is fit, he puts Thornton to shame, and that's saying something!
I can't believe he's one of the bigger stories emerging in trade week. As for the Hawks, why would they want him? After plundering the 04 and 05 drafts, they've got plenty of young talent, most of whom look like they're going to be pretty good.

good carlton lose a player they wasted time on and the hawks pick up a crap player all good things because i go for the bomber haha
