They want Aka and MacDougall (from WCE).

They finished 6th (?). ie 1st round pick is supposed to be sacrosanct and thats around 11 with 29,45,61 to follow.

They don'y have anyone screaming to be traded.

They are supposed to be financially embarassed.

What have they got to offer? How are they going to pay for these guys?

Well they really won't have to give up too much for MacDougall, don't even know why they want him myself, he's not an AFL footballer's arsehole...are they really that light on for KPP??!!!

Besides I've heard the Eagles are planning on delisting him if they can't trade him anyway...so I would figure a 3rd or 4th round pick for him.

Apparently McDougall was taken with pick 5 in the 2000 draft. Gotta say, for such a high draft pick he hasn't done much. But, then again the Doggies need height and if they can get him for a 3rd round draft pick - why not.

I was under the impression they'd offer their 3rd round pick for McDouggal, and after on-trading Birss/Faulkner offer two 2nd round picks for Aker.

Don't the Lions pay one more year for Acker?
