tomorrow afternoon after the deadline im going to be a happy bomber fan; or an extremly frustrated one

frustrated if:
Solomon goes and we get sh*t
Bolts, Reynolds are not gone
J.Cloke is in red & black

happy if:
Solomon goes we get Drum
J.Clokes AFL career is over
Bolts & Reynolds depart for a draft pick or decent player

Will us essendon fans be happy or frustrated?

Who would trade for Bolton or Reynolds? List lodgement doesn't happen tomorrow anyway, so others will be cut later on.

For some reason I kept thinking of Damien Drum, the poor bastard who found out he got the sack on the stairs...

happy if we get j cloke for next to nothing.

heck 189cm, rising star nominee a couple of years ago, big lad.

happy if trade say

pick 52 for cloke
solomon to freo for pick 31

and if mcphee goes(he is still uncontracted), then we get no less than a second round pick/established player for him.

unhappy if we downgrade any of our picks.

What happened with all the excitement about Bolts going to Adelaide???

I think we will be involved with the Tarrant trade at some stage with Solly and Richmond and Polak etc.

i was about to say, adelaide are pretty interested in bolton and have hayden skipworth and some other bloke on the table.

i'd be happy to let bolton go to adelaide as would sheedy since he tried to offload him to years ago to carlton but bolton refused and ended up staying.

To trade Bolton to the Crows, why don't we throw in Reynolds & Henneman with it also. Only because we can

I wonder if the Solomon trade to Fremantle will rely on the Tarrant trade going through or vise versa.
Seeing those two are such good mates....

So DYSON#2...what's your verdict?

Sollys gone but we didn't get Drum
Bolts & Reynolds are still with us (however temporarily)
J.Cloke is not with us but nor is his career over

How do you feel

The Cloke boys will find new homes via the PSD or National Drafts

Collingwood hurt their chances by saying they'd delist them in getting a trade.

Gardiner only got picked up due to St Kilda's special need for a ruckman.

What a frenetic close to trade week. Basically nothing right up until the last hour ... with the Everitt trade being confirmed with 90 seconds to spare. Cutting it fine.

Essentially we got bugger all for Solomon. Pick 42 and jumped our last pick up 5 spots. When you consider Tarrant was apparently worth Medhurst and Pick 8... Solomon clearly isn't valued too highly.

Going to be an interesting time in the lead up to the draft to see who goes to make way for the new kids.

I'd say Jason Cloke would only have negligible chance of being picked up by anyone in either the PSD or national draft. He is a very, very, very, very, very, very poor player. Hardly even worth pick 70 or wasting your time with a PSD pick. I see it as a choice between a proven dud in J Cloke with, say, draft pick 70, or a probable dud young kid who won't make it, but you have a slim chance of getting someone like a Clint Bartram, Rischitelli, Sam Fisher or someone else who might come good. Easy choice.

Cameron Cloke may get a gig as a 3rd or 4th ruck via a low pick in the draft or PSD.
