Can I add, Bowers is a f****** winging ass hole.

Face it! They f***** up by not having a clause that prevents him playing AFL at another club in 2007. Of course Michaels would not allow such a clause if he was not going to be financially compensated so Brisbanes greedy and nieve admin made a huge gamble of not including the clause with an incentive payment to ensure a full $300,000 was available to them in their 2007 salary cap.

Well they have got their $300,000 and probably used it to retain some of the promising young players on thier list. The fact that Michaels has done an about face and decided to play on is just too f****** bad!!!

Do they seriousely think they can stop Mal from continuing his employment elsewhere when they have given no finantial incentive nor included it in the outclause of his contract. WAKE UP f****** THE WORLD DOESNT REVOLVE AROUND YOUR CLUB AND ITS ASS HOLE OF A COACH!!

This could possibly turn out to be one of the greatest PSD recruiting coups in Sheeds coaching career (possibly second behind stephens of carlton for all time). Mal at FB with Fletch at CHB changes the whole team dinamic. Watch out for a HUGE year from fletcher who will love the freedom of not holding the backline together by himself and therby having freedom to play a more attacking role.

Also watch for the fast forward entries as fletcher delivers the ball forward from half back rather than full forward. I LOVE IT!!!!!

Michael was delisted. Game set and match.

Brisbane can not have hold on a player that they have delisted.

This player is a former employee of the Lions cause he was delisted.

Delisted, delisted, delisted!!!! and is doesn't matter why or how...... delisted.

I'll add, Austin Lucy was delisted with a year to go on his contract and he nominated for this year draft and probably the PSD, but cause we delisted him how can we stop him. WE CAN'T.

Bad luck Brisbane, maybe you should look after yourself a bit better next time. Tough Titties.

Slight difference being that he was not a wanted player and hadn't indicated that he was retiring from the game.

Even so, Brisbane were naive to not cover their bases and tell Michael that he would be held to his contract in the event he renominated for drafting.

Your right there is a difference betwen to two scenarios, and I'm a bit naughty to raise it.

Brisbane can not prove otherwise that Michael just simply changed hisd mind, The AFL have already approved it before the deal was struck, and simply the deal and appraoch were done after he became an unemployed footballer, having been DELISTED by Brisbane.

Can't see any dramas because as it was Ok'd by the AFL beforehand and if they back down to the whim of Brisbane they'll look like major f****** dickheads with no credibility.

Brisbane are used to getting their own way. It's great to see them having a big sook.
