Trade rumours
Re: Trade rumours
We need a 3 way deal. Lose Crameri to Dogs. Get Heath Shaw from Collinwood. Dogs Pick 22 to Collingwood. Something like that. Or else Dogs give us Luke Dahlhaus for Crameri. I think Dahlhaus or Shaw would work at Essendon.

Re: Trade rumours
Did Adams nominate cats or pies?(likely pies?).
I read gws want a pick between 10-17 for him.
If he is still avaipable(offer him good $$$ we need midfield leaders post jobe/goddard and he will be it)
imo we should do something like
Crameri for pick 22 and a player/4th rounder from dogs(fair enough price for a best 22 player)
pick 22 and gumby to freo in exchange for pick 16(they get a player and only a short downgrade)
Pick 16 to gws for Adams.(excellent midfield prospect)
We get adams and a draft pick.
Lose crammers and gumby
Fill crameris spot with a guy like chapman. Leta face it gumbys spot has gone to daniher.

Officially after Chapman and Sewell.

As I've said several times before, I think Chapman would be a good pick up for us. I'm not so sure on Sewell. I think if we're looking at midfielders we should be going for quicker players.

Myers is off the table.

Obviously Hird and co. are fans of his, but I think this is stupid. He's not a great player, we should at least listen to offers.

Re: Trade rumours
Fremantle are interested in Gumbleton again.
http://www.essendonfc.com.au/news/2013-10-08/trade-talk
I think Gumby chose to stay last year, rather than clubs losing interest, but you'd have to think after the grand final this year and the fact that Gumbleton didn't get injured this season that Freo would be more interested this year. Although they are also considering Podsiadly.

Re: Trade rumours
Agree on Sewell, although he is a good player and depending how cheap we can get him may be worth a shot.j-mac31 wrote:Officially after Chapman and Sewell.

As I have said before. GET CHAPMAN. Just f****** do it!
Re: Trade rumours
Sewell is a perfect finals player. Great inside player. Would look at him if the price is right.Sismis wrote:Agree on Sewell, although he is a good player and depending how cheap we can get him may be worth a shot.j-mac31 wrote:Officially after Chapman and Sewell.

Re: Trade rumours
We seem pretty damn keen on docherty from Brisbane.
I would like to see crameri sorted out asap
Either trade or convince him to sign up. Just don't bloody let it drag out.

Re: Trade rumours
Apparently Gumby has passed fitness tests with Freo today. And Carlton are apparently out of the march for Chapman leaving us in box seat.

I really hope Gumby does do well where ever he ends up except of course if he plays against us.Megan wrote:Apparently Gumby has passed fitness tests with Freo today. And Carlton are apparently out of the march for Chapman leaving us in box seat.

Re: Trade rumours
Can't actually sign Chapman or anyone else until 1st November however the club can have them sign a commitment form.... which is exactly what Chapman did at 5:20pm today (from reports)
lots of talk about Dal Santo coming to us aswell but SURELY we can't get Chapman, Dal AND Sewell..... would be very unusual if that were the case... but I guess Essendon are the pace setters in precedence in 2013 haha
