Dustin Martin Walked out

DUSTIN Martin has quit Richmond.

The shock decision "to pursue offers from other clubs" has come after months of negotiations between Richmond and the 22-year-old midfielder.

Throw the cheque book at him or a couple of slabs of JD. Either way could work well.

We need to be in the race for him. He is a risk, but he has some real talent.

f****** awful reporting. He has not 'walked out'. He is listening to offers from other clubs.

How exactly are we going to land Dustin Martin.

If he does leave Richmond, Richmond are going to want pretty darn decent compensation in return in the form of a trade. What are we going to offer them?

Gumbleton and pick whatever in the 3rd round.

Might be just about at the point where profession isn't even the right word anymore (not to say there isn't a small minority actually doing a decent job).

Very interesting isn't it? And; what fascinating juxtaposing has taken place here!

AD and the AFL Players Association, setting it up so players could walk from Essendon to another club following the supplements saga without Essendon being able to take part in any trade deal.

And here's AD at his very best again, giving Dustin Martin important much needed advice about NOT leaving Richmond over money and reminding him of the good people at the club who have helped him in his times of trouble. :-({|=

Hello Andrew what about BUDDY FRANKLIN?????? AND GARRY ABLETT?????????????????????????????

What an absolute two faced lying Judas. :^o [-X

Step 1 get in the mix and get a deal that would suit Martin, this at the very least pushes his price up if we don't get him. Step 2 is to make a deal with Richmond. They do not have a strong bargaining position since he can walk into the draft.

Step 3 is of course profit.

Indeed. Another chance to back our culture. And I haven't actually heard anything too bad that he does. Caro goes on about his "turbulent" off field life, but the only things she mentions are still being mates with that Connors bloke (f*** me if friends stick together) and turning up at 10pm at St Kilda's mad Monday (again, f*** me for him wanting to hang out with his mates). He shouldn't have been out that late the week leading up to a final, but it's still hardly the worst thing anyone's done off the field and we again, we should back ourselves to get him to improve his decision making.

There are several examples of very good players choosing for themselves where they want to go in recent years without being free agents (eg. Judd, Burgoyne).

I think he's mostly considering leaving to go home to Perth. I doubt we could offer him enough money to leave Richmond but not go back to Perth M Clarke style.

The irony is delicious! Serial f***sticks like Caro and Bartlett crapping on about how poorly we treated our players and how they wouldn't blame them if they walked out on our club. Haha.....what a pissa.....

If I were Richmond, I would go back to him with a reduced offer and tell him that no other club thought he was worth the mullah, so here's what we now think

Apparently he now wants to stay. Or no one else wants him.

We haven't been mentioned at all and seeing as there seems to be no one home, who knows if we've even considered him?
