Why would we go after someone whose greatest wish is to play for someone else? Or are we playing games and helping out the Gold Coast Suns in return for a favour?

Next years round 1 is on the table for starters. Plus a 2nd round not a 3rd like the hawks.

Just maybe, just maybe, if the dawks can't do a deal with the Sun's then O'Meara has the choice of the Draft or PSD.

In the draft Freo & the scum have indicated they are interested in picking him up. O'Meara would not entertain the dockers as he wants to live in Melbourne & as for going to the loser scum outfit, that would be abhorrent to any sane footballer. That's why squibbs wants out.

I'm certain we won't & would be pissed off if we did use pick 1 in the draft for him. So it would be in O'Meara's interests to nominate for the PSD, we take him with our first PSD pick & he stays in Melbourne. After all, the Bombers & the dawks were the only clubs he considered initially.

Could be interesting days ahead.

So just dreaming I suppose but next years mid-field could be Watson, Heppell, Parish,Zac Merrett and O`meara, with help from Goddard, Myers, Colyer and Co.

But that`s assuming we could get O`meara 'fit and healthy'.

That`s a fair mid-field in any mans books.
