He's a Gem,Little Ripper.

If the Club really does it's homework, there are plenty of Buddies of his at Claremontwell worth a look at.

Quinton Narkle for Perth is certainly worth a look at,despite his Late Season injury.

Related I believe, but I've had never heard anyone around the club say he was Phil or Keith's Son.

Possibly Dempsey Narkle's young fella.Dempsey played for us in the late 80's and did a Term on the Board.

Petrvski-Seton might be good, but I am sick of us getting perennially injured types so no thanks...

I'd happily trade out pick 5 over pick 7 if we were looking at darling trade.
Pick 7 has all the luck

Judd, Heppell were drafted with injury concerns.

Petrovski-Seton looks bloody special.

Elite kick both sides of his body, wins his own footy good in traffic.

I'd be most comfortable with us taking him at 1.

I'd be happy to take 5 & 7, reckon Petrovski-Seton could still be there at 5.

Speculation that we're looking to turn #1 into #5 & #7

Not sure how they're going to get that done, but it would be good to get 2 picks inside 10.
Carlton will give 5 to GWS for another batch of their rejects.

GWS give us 5 and 7 we give them 1, they get McGrath + academy players and we get 2 in the top 10.

Win win all round. Especially if we jag McCluggage with 5.
Hmm, I can't see McCluggage slipping to #5.
Nah its easy Benny.

Pick 1. Andrew McGrath (GWS)
Pick 2. Jack Bowes (GC after Brisbans bid)
Pick 3. SPS (Brisbane)
Pick 4. Tim English (Freo)
Pick 5. McCluggage.

Flawless.

Plus then Ainsworth can go at 6 and we'll take Brodie as well.

Get it done Dodoro.

If my calculations are correct, GWS are likely to end up with picks 3 & 5

I would trade Pick 1 for these

GWS will take McGrath with Pick One

We then have a decent chance for 2 top players

With a fairly even bunch of talent in the draft I can't imagine why anyone would get rid of 3&5 for 1.
You said it yourself - you'd be happy to have the 2 picks rather than just number 1.

Is this talk of using pick 1 to bid on Bowes or Setterfield designed to force one of Gold Coast or GWS to trade us their two top 10 picks for pick 1 so we can't bid on their player.

Would laugh if we traded pick 1 for 3 & 5 from GWS, and then used pick 3 to bid on Bowes, would truly piss Gold Coast right off.

100% we'd do that with 3 IMO.

Bowes would be number 1 if he was available. I actually think Brisbane will bid.

Brisbane trade Pick 2 and change to GWS for Pick 3 & Pick 16.

We're running out of options for Pick 1 (if we are looking to trade it).
