Re: PSD?
Should be good to go then! He certainly has pedigree and is a solid 20 year old. 196cm, 98kg...forward depth & development player?Rover99 wrote:Total shoulder recon already - no thanks!
Hartley had dodgy shoulders early and that hasn't held him back.
Anyhow, I see him as a rookie selection more than anything.

We just took a bloke that is bloody similar, and probably better, in the trade period.F111 wrote:Should be good to go then! He certainly has pedigree and is a solid 20 year old. 196cm, 98kg...forward depth & development player?Rover99 wrote:Total shoulder recon already - no thanks!

But with NO shoulder problems, plus it was no shame not pushing Lobb Cameron and Patton out of their team.Gimps wrote:We just took a bloke that is bloody similar, and probably better, in the trade period.F111 wrote:Should be good to go then! Re: PSD?
Don't get me wrong, I doubt he's on our radar for the same reasons y'all have listed. He might get a rookie spot somewhere and Hartleys story is an example of why. He might need a year in the vfl though.

AFL.com.au understands the Crows are close to finalising a contract extension for young key forward Harry Dear.
The 20-year-old was the 58th overall pick in the 2014 draft and showed promising signs in the SANFL this year.
Dear has had to bide his time behind captain Taylor Walker, Josh Jenkins, Tom Lynch and Mitch McGovern, but is seen as a quality long-term prospect.

Couldn't hurt as a bit of depth - still gets the ball a lot and was always slow - won't cost much, PSD pick 1 year contractBenDoolan wrote:Slow and not neededWindy_Hill wrote:Im surprised Michael Barlow has not been mentioned

Unfortunately, you can't drown a witch!

Seems Richards is getting a bit worried about finding a club in Melbourne and is suckking up at Sydney. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/x ... safof.html.BenDoolan wrote:Xavier Richards is the man.Windy_Hill wrote:Couldn't hurt as a bit of depth - still gets the ball a lot and was always slow - won't cost much, PSD pick 1 year contractBenDoolan wrote:Slow and not neededWindy_Hill wrote:Im surprised Michael Barlow has not been mentioned
I suspect this indicates that no-one from Essendon has contacted his manager.

Dempsey starting to look safe (and not just because he is on a trip North with the assistant coach). :-"

I smell a f****** rat here. A player decides to leave Sydney because it is too expensive, then doesn't actually leave...s'dreams wrote:Seems Richards is getting a bit worried about finding a club in Melbourne and is suckking up at Sydney. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/x ... safof.html.BenDoolan wrote:Xavier Richards is the man.Windy_Hill wrote:Couldn't hurt as a bit of depth - still gets the ball a lot and was always slow - won't cost much, PSD pick 1 year contractBenDoolan wrote:Slow and not neededWindy_Hill wrote:Im surprised Michael Barlow has not been mentioned

What about Josh Green or has his name already been floated?
