The Hibbo Gem

Post by desmondo »

I just have a feeling that we are going to pluck a 'gem' with the Hibbo pick (29).

There are always sliders on the night. :)

a "feeling" huh?

sounds like guys i have played poker against claiming they have a "feeling" their card is coming after making a horrible call.

But I hope your right and we do pluck a gem.

His time is 2020. He has the basics, but needs a preseason with solid knees to regain some confidence.

When confident, he is a superb kick, which is something we need more of.

When he got the ball he generally used it well.

Unfortunately, he didn't get it often enough. #-o

And neither did DoDo... Taking a speculative selection at #29 is pretty ordinary. You should get a 100 game player at around that pick.

Ha, ha, exactly. But has he learnt anything from either the lessons we've had to cop, or the recent heightened criticism of him? Only time will tell, but surely he's out on a limb by now.
