How can we possibly get the 3 S`s (Smith, Saad & Stringer) to the club??...talk is we don`t want to give up our first pick, 11, our next pick 28 MIGHT suffice for Saad. Will we have to give pick 11 to get either Smith or Stringer? and are either of them worth that?. Then there is mention of us giving up future picks, BUT the talk is that next years draft is going to be a 'super' draft so I wouldn`t want to be giving up future picks either. How the f*** is it going to play out??. I`m getting confused and worried

Reported today that Aaron Francis wants out, back to S.A.
Should be able to get value from him to exchange for Saad/Stringer/Smith.

With Francis wanting a move home it does open up our options.

It's a bugger because l saw real potential in that kid - but you've gotta give something to get something - and if we land all 3 - its a price worth paying.

We would still need to go to the draft and try for a couple of colts. Clubs that sacrifice drafting in young talent for top-ups - rarely succeed.
If that means sacrificing or moving on one or two others who have been tried but yet to be proven - or just well past their use by date (Langford, Colyer) then so be it.
