It looked bad, but Im not so sure on the replay.
Anyways get real, AFL aint going to want him sidelined.
He doesnt play for Essendon so 10 bucks says reprimand!!

Franklin's at least was a genuine hip and shoulder with no raised elbow. Adelaide player falling to the ground prior to contact made it look bad.
Even so, hate the hawks and hate Franklin so he better go.
Lets see (I haven't seen it, but...) the MRP will look at the footage and then look at the player (Franklin). They will take into consideration that Buddy Franklin is on target to kick 100 goals in a regular season (the first time since Lockett in '98), and he is probably on target for a Brownlow Medal. They will also take into consideration that he is the hottest player along with Gary Ablett in the game today. Then they will say......."Bump?.........What bump??????"
The player that got hit (I can't even remember who it was) wasn't out of the play, got up pretty much straight away and took the free kick, hence "low impact".
I wish they wouldn't replay these incidents slower and slower each time - everythng looks 10 times worse in super slow-mo!
If this guy could kick straight he'd kick about 130 goals by the end of the regular 22 rounds. Going pretty well when you have a dirty night but still manage 7 scoring shots, and a couple other shots that go OOF or miss altogether.
I watched the last quarter and TBH, I was glad they won. Stuff Adelaide! And even though Buddy had a dirty night, he is one hell of a mover over the turf. f*** he can gallop!

I didnt see an elbow...it was high contact with the shoulder. He will get one week, and then get off with a reprimand...
