It'll just be another cracking match. I might not start drinking this year until the game starts, instead of 9am, just so i'm actually sober enough to enjoy it!

Will be a great game, West coast to get up by 8 points for mine.

How hard is it to pick a norm smith medalist. Goodes, Judd, Cousins can all turn it on and dominate.

I will go with Kerr though, think he will have a big one.

Please, please, please don't let Sydney win another flag. Will be behind WC all the way.

WC need to bloke the space for the Sydney forwards. They will flood, and try to leave room for Hall and co, like they did last time.

COME ON EAGLES.

Players like Roberts-Thomspson don't deserve to play in a grand final let alone be carried in two premiership teams.

Some of the players on their list are average, but the stop start scrap that they like to play makes them look ok. Dempster, Doyle, Fosdyie, Malcheski, Mathews, LRT ....

I'll be there.

Have to get up, tommorow morning at 5:00, travel to F111 home town (Yes, you might see me there :P) and line up until Midday, all while the tickets go out MONDAY morning. Dad's making me. Got the big bombers jacket out, ipod, chair, rug, i'll be right :P

Should be a ripper. Going for West Coast.... Would like to see shared premiership medalions.

Yep, GO Eagles!

Sydney's irritating and frustrating style of football doesn't deserve another flag.

Players like Judd, Cousins, Kerr and Cox thoroughly deserve a premiership as does the team itself.

Eagles have been played plenty of finals - 2002 EF, 2003 EF, 2004 EF, 2005 GF... they have to go one better.

Lots of pressure on them.

Can't pick a winner. Wouldn't be surprised if they were $1.90 each of two.

WE ARE DUE FOR A DRAWN GRAND FINAL.

1948 GF - Draw

29 years later...

1977 GF - Draw

29 years later...

2006 GF - ???

Hmmmmmm...... !!!!!!!!

lol.

Like the 100 year thing from a few years ago.

1900 Essendon came second- 2000 won
1901 fitzroy " " - 2001 brissie won

and so on, or something like that

And 29 years before 1948 in 1919 no draw. There goes that.

*Yes I'm aware that the final of 1919 was not a true grand final.

I've changed my mind, and i actually hope the Eagles win. The players in their team deserve a premiership medal.

Roberts-Thompson was close to BOG in last year's grand final.

So West Coast came runner up in 1906?

Why all the hatred for Sydney?

Their style might not be great to watch - but God it's effective - and you have to admire them for that. They are probably one of the most disciplined sides I have ever seen play, and no matter what you think of the aesthetics of their style of play, you have to admire them for that surely.

Having said that, i havent decided if im going for them or not. I love the way West Coast play as well.

Hopefully its a belter of a match.

the swans kicked 127 on friday night, they arent just a defensice team.

and barry hall is fantastic to watch...surely almost the most dominant forward in the game.

i don't really care who wins this year.....swans got their flag last year, west coast i hope never win one.

what would be nice would be.

hall: 10 goals.
judd: 40 possies
goodes cleaned up.

and the result.... a draw....give us one more weekend of footy!
