Winderlich out for season

Having an operation to repair prolapsed disc. Fair dinkum when are the injury Gods going to look kindly on the Bombers. Thats Davey, Lee, probably Gumby now Winderlich out for the season. Change of fortune is now due....

No Davey, No Houli, No Dempsey, No Licha. Fair bit of running power and speed there.

Gee, this sounds seriously career threatening. Anything to do with the spine is serious stuff. Hope all goes well for him.

And it's a painful injury as well. Both my parents suffer prolapsed discs, and it took both of them a good few years to come good.

Must have been inside opening an umbrella as well.

Seriously, this list cant take a trick and Winderlich always has something happen just as he' hitting his straps. He was talking about coming back the game after the bye, but now that's clearly off the table. Pity because we could use him, although the young kids who are running around in his spot at the moment are doing a pretty good job.

Feel sorry for this guy, its always when he's starting to run into form he gets knocked back.
I thought our injuries in the past 6 weeks have been excellent. Especially considering all the Hammies we had earlier in the year, we seem to nearly have our best players playing every week.
Injuries are hurting a lot of other clubs worse than us, thats for sure.
