Sam and Leroy must be on the radar. Could be a strong year for Essendon nominations (about time too).

Pity Meyers is out as he would be in contention by now as well. SEN was rating the #6 draft picks this morning - the best they could come up was Alan Jockovic. Meyers will take this mantle in years to come.

Congrats Boots (again) =D>

Apsalutely awesome news!! Palmer has it in the bag, but a nomination is still great recognition for his contribution to our improved recent form.

Well deserved.

I think Cotchin has it won. He is all class. Going to be s champion. Palmer butchers the ball too much for me. He could be another Schammer in the long run.

Get on Myers to win it next season if he qualifies.

How good is the Dean Solomon trade looking right about now?

I'm still trying to work out who Reimers reminds me of. He's got a bit of Boris Bewick about him but he's a bit more nimble, a bit less explosive, and has a bit more mongrel. The anger management issues remind me a bit of a young Andrew Welsh.

What about Alan Ezard? I can't even remember what he was like as a youngster... anyone?

Unless he gets suspended, there are no anger management issues.

Reminds me of Merv Neagle. Similar attitude to footy - in your face and hard at it.

YAY!!! i was so excited when i read this news on the efc website. Its about bloody time that Kyle was nominated as he has been fantastic for most of the season. Im sure that Leroy and Sammy aren't that far away from a nomination either (unless Sammy is over the age limit?). The future of the efc is certainly bright thats for sure and yes that deal we got for Solly (both Kyle and Bachar) is GOLD!!!! vingertje

Good news.

He would be a chance to a get a vote or two at the end of the year as well as he has been very consistent. Has the makings of a gun player, and the opposition supporters are hate him which makes it even better! Now watch for Lonergan and Jetta to go close, as they have been recently.

Next year theres Hislop, Gumbleton, Neagle and Myers who all would be a shot for the award if they can stay fit (at a Quinnless Essendon, who knows?) and don't play much more this season.
