Dreadful. We've got about 3 or 4 winners across the entire ground in Monfries, Welsh, Dyson and maybe one or two others, and the rest have been dreadful. Play in front for crying out loud.

19 down at qtr time. Defense not helping each other out when the ball is coming in long. Kicks to HF leads have too much on it allowing defenders easy spoils. That's if it's not being bombed aimlessly inside 50. Lloyd being off to get his ankle restrapped hasn't helped. Got the typical dodgy home ground umpiring as per usual, denied a clear holding the ball on the wing & Lloyd FA when it should've been FF. Wind & sun not helping.

Lackluster 1st qtr from us, need to lift.

Count how many times Russell says "spears" the pass/ball, or it's a "gem". He would say each of those words 30 times a match. And Jakovich is back on the "Essington" train. Good footballer was Jacko, but he's about as smart as he looks.

That was my line of thinking as well. That first half was eerily similar to the first half against Richmond.

None of our players are playing well. We've got a few guys going ok like Ryder, Fletch and Dyson, but no one is doing genuinely well. Then we've got players that are just straight out embarrassing, like NLM.

They are playing like they've all been out on the turps last night !!! Wake Up Bombers !!! Its probably down to us being installed as hot hot favourites and they just thought they'd have to turn up to win. We CAN turn this around but it will take one almighty effort. We seem to be missing the grunt of Reimers severely.

this doesn't remind me of the richmond game. it reminds me of richmond.
if we miss the 8 by losing one of the last 4 games I want us to go down fighting. not like this. this is a richmondesque performance - all to play for and don't turn up ready.

and another thing - the eagles average 77 points per game - and have 66 in a half.

they also average 114 pts against - and we have just managed 28 in a half.

Hopefully we can come back, have it down to 26 points at the moment, if we could get within 10 points by 3/4 time then perhaps the Eagles would begin to become a little bit wobbily and the boys will start to belief they can still run over the top of the Eagles.
