Team List Scenarios

Post by bomberflyer »

I have put together a list of possible selection candidates without knowing what's going on at Bendigo:

Atkinson, Bellchambers, Davey, Dempsey, Dyson, Hocking, Hooker, Houli, Jetta, Lloyd, Lonergan, Lovett, Lovett-Murray, McPhee, Monfries, Myers, Nash, Neagle, Pears, Quinn, Ryder, Slattery, Stanton, Watson, Winderlich, Zaharakis and Williams.

My Team:

Slattery Pears Lovett-Murray
Dempsey McPhee Myers
Lovett Stanton Lonergan
Davey Lloyd Zaharakis
Jetta Neagle Hocking
Ryder Watson Winderlich

Bellchambers Houli Dyson Atkinson

Ins: Neagle Bellchambers Houli Atkinson
Outs: Lucas Hooker Monfries Fletcher

So, outside of Lucas and Fletcher I have dropped Monfries for inconsistent form and Hooker for match-ups.

With respect to Hooker I have made an expectation that Pears, Lovett-Murray, McPhee and Atkinson to be used to apply pressure of Franklin and Roughead. Although difficult task for any player one-on-one, the emphasis is to win ball in the midfield and use the ball well, and work hard defensively when we do not have the ball to help out the defence.

Hummmmmm....it is tough in all ways...but, I think Houli and Atkinson deserve their chance, and Bellchamber to help in the ruck and Neagle to take an opportunity without fear not retribution of the consequences - until Scotty is back!!!!!!!!

Agree with Rosso; Hooker before Atkinson. I would persist with Monfries and give Jetta a spell for Houli.

Hooker showed promise against Brisbane and more than deserves a spot again this week. Effort has to be rewarded!
