Just saw it on Bomberblitz.. where there is a pretty informative thread about it.

Re: Hurley Injured
Disappointing but we are managing without him at the moment. Only played one game though. Loved to see him out there but I can still manage with the team we got at the moment. Its working.

8-10 weeks the norm for that type of injury. Bummer...

Re: Hurley Injured
He'd be real dirty watching his old teammate Zaka tearing it up while he does rehab!
Fortunately it's not a big loss while Hooker and Pears are doing such admirable jobs. Should get him nice and angry for when he's ready to come back and gives him a massive opportunity to work on the engine. Might see Gumby and Hurley tearing it up at either end of the ground towards the end of the year.

This afternoon there was mention that he was to have scans on his wrist for a suspected break of his scaphoid boneSismis wrote:has this been confirmed?

Re: Hurley Injured
A schaphoid fracture will not show up on x-rays for about 10 days. Most schaphoid fractures occur in the middle of the bone and because the blood to the bone comes from above the fracture does not have an adequadte blood supply to promote healing. Unfortunately it's a bitch of a bone to break as it takes a while to heal, he may need some metal plates put in his wrist.
