I know Stanton got a lot of the ball today ... but too many clangers and bad decisions for me to consider him.

Interesting..... what made you give him 2 votes? I personally thought he had no impact today and made some terrible errors.GoalSneak wrote:5. Lovett

5 Lovett (31 poss - 23 Kicks, 8 HB. 81% effective disposals. Highest i50s on the ground with 10 - next best 7. 5 clearances. 6 bounces. Still running & cutting teams up.)
4 Watson (26 poss - 10 K, 16 HB. 81%. 5 marks, 5 clearances, 6 tackles, 3 goals. 4 i50. Goalkicking reliable at the moment.)
3 Lucas (18 poss - 7 K, 11 HB. 72%. 7 Hitouts. 5 tackles, 6 marks. 4 goals nice return, having to pinch hit in the ruck as well.)
2 Ryder (11 poss - 82%. 25 Hitouts. 2 Clearances. 1 goal. Lead the tackles again with 11.)
1 Stanton (31 poss - 18 K, 13 HB. 6 marks, 6 tackles. 7 i50. Very good early - 20 poss at 1/2 time. Disposal let him down though - 65%, 5 clangers.)

Lonergan did some fantastic work in and around the forward line that I only picked up when I watched the replay. Was instrumental in a lot of our scoring from stoppages.
Play that same game again and we win 99/100 times. They stayed in the game with arsey shots from all over the place and then one the game in the last with more of the same. Was screaming for Pears to go to Tippett but as soon as the move was made I realised why the coaching staff had persisted - Walker started kicking goals as soon as Pears moved off him. Hooker needs a bit of a spell - I love the way that he runs and creates but he needs to learn a bit better when to stay / when to go.

Ryder stiff. Pears did well, might've been a deal worse otherwise.
