Here comes the filth...

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Here comes the filth...

...and they know where we're coming from.

They have 5 in a row, and may be confident. We have 2 in a row and one days rest up our sleeve.

Mcveigh back =D> , maybe McPhee.

Pendlebury may return for them.

The crowd will be huge.

Will Fraser "dog it" again?

The boys have to re-focus and put the Carlton game out of their minds. Collingwood are a better team with more depth across the ground than the Scum. This will be an altogether tougher game to win. I like the fact that they are 5 wins in a row. Makes me think that they could start getting complacent. Watson will be a huge loss but with McPhee and McVeigh ready to come back in, we do have some depth to cover his loss.

I think the changes this week will be tough to call

Obviously McVeigh in for Watson

I am not too sure who would go out for McPhee other than perhaps Slattery

In: McVeigh, McPhee
Out: Watson, Lovett-Murray.

Personally I would leave McPhee out and perhaps bring Houli back in, but we all know that won't happen.

The differences in the team from last time;

(outs from the R5 clash): David Hille, Leroy Jetta, David Myers, Jobe Watson and David Zaharakis - assuming McPhee comes back in this week and NLM isn't dropped.

ins: Brent Prismall, Cale Hooker, Kyle Reimers, Hayden Skipworth, Andrew Welsh and Mark McVeigh

Even with the massive loss of Watson, we have really strengthened our side. The important one is Andrew Welsh. The last time he played against them, he buried Pendlebury into the dirt and then collected 29 disposals and 4 goals.

They have beaten the teams ranked 10th to 16th in the last five weeks, so their form is no judge at all really. We are every chance.
Hope Pendlebury doesn't play, then whack Welsh on Didak, Hocking on Swan, and let our boys do their thing.

There's no way Pendlebury will take the field - and that's great news because he is easily their best player IMO.

I have a feeling we are going to win. I very rarely get these feelings. The last time I got it was Round 3 v Carlton. They are never wrong.

Get on board people.

I'd imagine McPhee would get Cloke if he came back in with Pears getting Anthony. Who goes to Leon "can't see me" Davis if he plays?

Any thought to Zaharakis, considering the winning goal last time? Is he young enough to go in super cocky, thinking he'd do it again?

According to the match report for Bendigo (on bomberblitz), Zaha copped a very heavy knock so I doubt they'd bring him in this week.

next three weeks are the toughest games left all season if you ask me.

win against collingwood, sydney(away), dogs and it should be top 4 aspirations.

if we lose all three, well, we can still make the 8, it might put the boys under the pump confidence wise

McVeigh for Jobe is a given but I thought NatRat did some good things on Friday esp the one handed mark and pass to Lloyd for a goal. I want him on the backline for that added grunt.

I would prefer that McPhee comes in for Slattery.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

yeah must of missed that one.

still collingwood/sydney(A)/Dogs is a bloody tough run.

if we win 2/3 then i would have the bombers looking at top 4. will be underdogs for all 3 games.

True that. I was wondering if it was just cloke and daggers stuff to keep our selectors guessing. I'm thinking it wouldn't make much difference really.
