McVeigh

I've been pretty much incommunicado overseas for the past week.

How did he perform up in Sydney after his short holiday and bout of general soreness.

He was poor. Probably pressed a little hard. Will also be better for the run.

Hmmm ... suspect that the hairshirt was itching a little too much on Sat .... would expect that the cortisone cream would have sorted this out for Fri.

Hi DC

A hair shirt is a garment or undergarment made of coarse cloth or animal hair worn as a shirt (or around the loins) and was used in some religious traditions to induce discomfort or pain as a sign of self repentance and atonement for wrongdoings. Ie it itches and scratches like buggery.

Methinks McVeigh was trying too hard to make up for the past few weeks.

Hope he has a cracker against the Doggies on Friday. Would love to have him back in the kinda form he had at the start of last season.

Where do you think we should play him for the rest of the season?
