Its very rare i post votes so here goes... I would like to give the maggots 10 votes
because i belive this was the worst case of umpireing i have ever seen..... also i would
like to blame them for my drinking problems.... for f... sake.

Agree with bunnykev.

Other than that I thought:

Lovett
Dempsey
Fletcher
Hurley
Ryder

Imagine how good Lovett would be if he chased like Davey when he didn't have the ball...

Watson would have offered more in the coaches box. Ditto McVeigh.

5. Stanton (25 poss, 6 contested at 76% efficiency. 7 marks, 3 tackles, 3 clearances, 1 goal) - Solid game.
4. Winderlich (22 poss, 5 contested at 77%. 8 marks, 1 goal) - Went inside 50 6 times & used the ball well with his run.
3. Fletcher (25 poss, 7 contested at 76%. 5 marks, 3 tackles) - Plenty of possessions, & set up our rebound.
2. Hurley (15 poss, 7 contested at 80%. 7 marks, 3 tackles, 1 goal) - Solid game, continues to impress.
1. Ryder (14 poss, 5 contested at 86%. 7 marks, 6 tackles. 18 hitouts, 1 goal) - Tough gig, played reasonably well.

Apologies to Prismall (21 poss, 8 contested at 86%. 9 marks, 5 clearances, 1 goal), Lovett(27 poss, 5 contested, 2 clearances, 7 inside 50s) - effective disposals at 59% though & 4 clangers.

Defense was pretty good considering the rebound from our ordinary forward set up (& also copping some dodgy decisions).
Midfield wasn't too bad considering Jobe had no influence, & Paddy is still carrying too much of the Ruck work load.

3. Fletch (extra points for his "demeanour")
2. Hurley (lots of potential this lad)
1. Ryder (tried hard to lift us around the ground)

Others worthy of mention: the runners (Winderlich, Lovett, Dempsey, Stanton, Prismall all racked up possie but just didn't seem to be able to deliver it into the forward 50 to convert it into goals!); defence (as well as Fletch and Hurley mentioned above, Pears, Dempsey, Slattery & McPhee were okay too); forward line (Lloyd tried hard; was held virtually every marking contest but never gets a free; Reimers & Davey had some touches but didn't seem to be able to get into top gear for whatever reason).

5- Dustin Fletcher- back to his brilliant defensive best last night
4- Andrew Lovett- outstanding again tonight... top 3 in the B&F coming up i think.
3- Michael Hurley- How exciting is this kid!!! Could be a star defender or forward.
2- Brent Stanton- another solid game in the middle. Great goal from outside 50 as well.
1- Courtney Dempsey- Wonderful game across half back.

Mentions to Prismall, Ryder, Licha and Lloydy (tried hard without the results)
