Our Forwardline Tomorrow...

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Our Forwardline Tomorrow...

Post by JimboC »

Over the past month, and at different stages throughout the year, Knights has made clear mention of how well we have stacked up in the inside 50's.

Despite our disspointing losses this year we have still broke even or won in this area.

I can't see us being smashed in the inside 50's on saturday, we might even win there, but the big question is our forward 6.

Baring in mind our game style will always allow for several meaningful forward entries who would your forward 6 be?

Mine would be as follows,

HF: Reimers, McPhee, Monfries
F: McVeigh, Neagle, Davey

Only two Bigger marking options, with three smaller targets that crumb well and are capable of taking some great contested marks. And of course, we know what Davey provides....

Your thoughts,

Prolly need him in the midfield but I like lonegan in the forward line. Although Reimers provides simliar toughness.

Salmon - Coleman - Berwick
Van der Haar - Lucas - T.Daniher

Sorry - couldn't find a spot for our greatest goal kicker -
(or even our 2 greatest) - go figure.
My material isn't very good..Oh...and then there's the bladder problem.

It will be interesting to see how they work. We have no idea how they'll go, so Brissie will probably be a wee unsure too!

Ha ha ha, are you going with Lucas on recent form? or circa 2000'?...ha ha ha

I like the inclusion of Boris, however I would have Mercuri in there somewhere aswell. Just to help Boris with the crumbs...
