5 - J Watson (the next EFC skipper)
4 - A Monfries (4 second quarter goals)
3 - P Ryder (shit I hope you're leg is OK)
2 - B Stanton (did not stop and looked like he carried an injury - no frustration with him this week)
1 - T Pears (one of our big ticks for 2009)

Id give everyone a vote tonight...

5- Jobe Watson- 37 possies, we would be lost without him
4- Angus Monfries- 4 goals and completely dominated in the forward line. Pressure was amazing.
3- Jarrod Atkinson- What a find over the past 2 weeks. Game saving tackling and chasing tonight.
2- Brent Prismall- 24 solid possies and 2 goals
1- Michael Hurley- Rising star this week surely, 20 possies. Dominated forward and back

apologies to Dempsey, Lovett, Natrat and Pears.

5. Jobe Watson
4. Angus Monfries (should have kicked 6 if he marked that ball on the goal line - and then taken the shot in the last Q)
3. Tayte Pears
2. Brent Prismall
1. Courtenay Dempsey (his defensive efforts were outstanding)

Apologies to the rest of our guys. Very heroic and gutsy effort. Very reminiscent of the Bulldogs game back in 1999. Character building stuff!

5. Watson (simply awesome, he controlled the midfield all day)
4. Monfries (a great 2nd quarter which went a long way to winning us the game)
3. Stanton (got plenty of the ball, broke the lines and did the defensive stuff whichh had been lacking in his game)
2. Pears (it's never easy playing on some bigger and stronger, it's made even harder when you aren't allowed to touch them!)
1. Atkinson (loved his run of half back and his goal was nice.)

5. Watson (really controlled the game in the 2nd and 3rd quarters)
4. Monfries (if only he could play like that EVERY week!?)
3. Atkinson (where has he been all year?)
2. Hurley (love this kid - wasn't even put off his game one iota when swapped onto Kosi)
1. Pears (just keeps beating top quality opposition week in week out)

Others worthy of a mention: Ryder (boy, will we miss him!), Stanton (the usual clanger turnovers & over use of the ball here and there, but you can't fault his work rate), McPhee (looks much better in attack than defence), Lovett & Lovett-Murray (didn't get huge stats, but ran and ran and broke the game open a few times).

I could go on...a fantastic effort all around. Only one team has been able to beat them all year and it is....US!! :D
