Salt into the Wounds

Post by hop »

Losing to Freo in such a piss-weak performance was disheartening to the point of depression.

Losing the Ashes after statistically dominating the series and cruising at lunch on Day 2 of the deciding test was almost suicidal.

But opening the mail today and finding a brochure advertising 'The Hardest, Fastest, Fiercest FINALS SERIES EVER' with a picture of Hille on the front, jumping over some genetic-freak basketballer - presumably from the AFL promo which BTW was never used....Was the last F**KING STRAW!!!!!!!

Yep I'm gunna run out and buy a shit load of finals tickets at this stage.

Stop taunting me world!!!!
My material isn't very good..Oh...and then there's the bladder problem.

I know how you feel hop - in addition to the shiteful weekend sporting performances you mentioned, I travelled to Sydney on Saturday to watch the Wallabies v All Blacks Bledisloe Cup test, with my kiwi wife, and watched the Wallabies lead throughout until a NZ penalty in the second last minute ...

The couch recovered, played well and got votes.

The dog was benched and reported for a reckless movement. Looking at 3 to 5 Goes up tonight.!!!

I'm feeling all these losses .... plus the Aussie boomers lost to the Tall Blacks in Basketball. We've lost every single thing of interest in the last week...I'm just glad the socceroos didn't play.
