I thought McVeigh was finally turning it around a couple of weeks back.
Probably in the Brisbane game he didn't get a stack of possessions, but at least was winning hard balls again.
Last week was pretty good too.

This is unacceptable. Bring in Hocking, who gives it a red hot crack at every contest.

I don't get McPhee. Sometimes brilliant, but so often a dud.
Monfries in a few years.

f*** this forum gives me the shits sometimes after a loss.

I love ya Spike. I appreciate your work for the EFC. It's been a shit year, happens to the best and worst of footballers. I'm certainly not ready to trade him over it.

We did lack leadership today and guys like Spike, Welsh and McPhee should've provided it. They are all good players and are in the age bracket we are desperately lacking. There is no way they are going anywhere.

It really is getting monotonous isn't it.

He needs to spend the summer under deep hypnosis where the message is "take the first option"

Either that or keep him away from the opposition forward 50

The only thing I can see saving him long term is if he is moved forward where his unpredictability can be an asset.

I think McPhee can be a very dangerous decoy forward, he can take a very good mark and isnt a bad kick for goal. I thought he started the game well today with a couple of really good marks and runs off half back but made some very very bad errors as well.

I thought McVeigh was 100% better today, dod some nice things and tackled hard.

McPhee deep in the defensive 50 is bad news. He makes the worst decisions every time. King turnover when he has it deep and there is no obvious pass to make. even then he seems to over look it.

running off flanks and floating across back taking marks and spoiling he is good at. Just makes really bad turnovers.
