Biggest Essendon crowd at an "away" game in a LONG time!

Can't remember the last time so many Essendon fans turned up for an away game.

We outnumbered them, yelled louder and wasn't it brilliant!!!!

Our away games against the Blues (Rd 3) and Collingwood (Rd 14) had no where near the same amount of support.

The MCC looked chockers, moreso than even ANZAC Day.

It was the Hawks members area that looked sparse.

Where were they????

It was such a fantastic atmosphere yesterday. It was very one end of the ground vs the other. It's amazing how the Hawks members area was so sparse, it has been for the second half of the year. Biggest bandwagon supporters. But the roar when we got in front. Glad I was at the Essendon end. God those Hawks supporters near the players bench next to MCC shat me up the wall yesterday having a go at our players as they went by and standing ovation for Campbell Brown. Was hilarious to watch nevertheless. I think yesterday was one of the best games I've ever been too, was nasty! I loved it!

'80's footy.

The Ponsford stand was extended into the members where there are usually many empty seats...in the pocket way up the top. It was much more crowded than usual up there.

Good strategy from the MCC.

Early on I felt we were outnumbered in the crowd (maybe because we were playing so flat, the crowd seemed flat too).

But after that Lloyd bump we certainly fired up (both the team and the crowd!).
I was yelling like crazy. Haven't been that fired up at the footy for a long time.
My most favourite statement (think I said it about ten times!) was..
Hurley - can that boy play!

Was a fantastic atmosphere yesterday. I thought my head was going to explode on several occasions in the 2nd half.

This f***ing football club of ours is going to cause me to have a stroke one of these days.

How big has the roller-coaster ride been this year?
Any chance for another 'go round' or are the breaks going to be applied?
