The Elimination Final v Crows

Post by F111 »

Who plays?
Who misses out?

LIoyd likely to miss, despite some support in the media today.
Ryder maybe miss a week also.
McVeigh has a dislocated metacarpel. He finished the game, but had this sorted this morning. May miss?

Who comes in?

Remember Adelaide have a very big back line. Do we deliberately go smaller and faster?

Bellchambers in.
Who else?

Out: Lloyd, Atkinson (no one else to drop)
In: Reimers, Dempsey

Need to hit them with speed. You cant catch what you cant see.

Sounds logical. Certainly, we need to go with speed. Looked a bit top heavy at times yesterday.

But are Reimers and Dempsey definitely 100% fit? No point at all going in with half fit players.
And Atkinson should not be dropped. He was good.

I know, but who else? Maybe we go with a small forward line like we did against St Kilda?

What about Darcy Daniher? Is he worth considering? We can't just rely on Hurley (fantastic though he was).

Finding 22 fit and eligible blokes is going to be a big ask.

Without Lloyd and Ryder we have no option other than to try and out run them - the problem is that we don't have blokes waiting to come back. Hopefully Dempsey has had a miracle recovery and Bellchambers decides that his time is now. Lloyd, frankly, wont be a loss - his biggest contribution for the 2nd half of this year happened in a split second yesterday.

Interstate we play like we have concrete boots - I very worry.
My material isn't very good..Oh...and then there's the bladder problem.

McVeigh has an injured hand. Might get up, might not?

Hurley, Monfries and Neagle - all have to kick multiple goals.

We were too top heavy in the first half yesterday so i think we will just leave Hurley and Neagle forward and bring in a smaller player for Lloyd.

Jetta, TB (especially if Ryder is out), Daniher and Skipworth will all be available. Unfortunately i dont think Reimers and Demps will be fit enough to play.

His shoulder injury looked pretty serious last week so i doubt he will be available.

I would be tempted to bring in Skipworth (knows AAMI stadium and his experience would be great for the team) and Jetta who may or may not be playing for his career at the club.

Don't forget the WEATHER,which may be COMPLETELY DIFFERENT to what the CROWS Played in Yesterday.Keep an eye on that ASPECT.And PICK the TEAM for those Conditions. We can KNOCK these PRICKS OFF.

And they are STILL NUTSO about '93.They'll be PUMPING THEMSELVES for REVENGE(even if the NUTTY PROFESSOR says otherwise).Everyone's Baying for BOMBER BLOOD and an Expected win.Their season will be a MASSIVE FAILURE if they BLOW IT.We are LIBERATED with the thought of No Huge expectations, but INVIGORATED,Knowing we're a SERIOUS CHANCE to WIN.

PRESSURE'S ALL ON THEM!

Nash, Skippy, Belly, Jetta and Quinn didn't play today.

Belly for Ryder, maybe a small fast agile unpredictable forward for LIoyd?

Probably not.
They'd do the match reviewing tomorrow, so tribunal (if required) couldn't be earlier than Tuesday.

Could be without Sammy as well. He got Hodge a beauty in the 3rd which had him reeling. Mind you, Hodge hit him first but the retaliator useually cops it. I think that "Beano" Atkinson will be OK and must play. Nothing in his incident.

Rosso, why consider dropping him???
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

So..
LIoyd
Ryder
Lonergan all confirmed as out.

McVeigh has a problem with his had.

Dempsey? How has he been training, and is he a likely inclusion? He'd cover McVeigh. I like to see him back.

Atkinson to stay.

So there are likely to be 4 ins/outs this week.
