how nervous does Matty Knights look tonight!
Cause he knows he's gonna raped in the media and with fans by not playing a true ruckman.
yep another fail for tonight, but he had to do something

Its an all or nothing gamestyle.

When the skills are good, it will cut through any side, the problem is we have too many who cant make a right decision or execute simple skills.

Many players of which reside in the back pocket, and half forward flank as a piss poor lead up player, and even worse crumbing player.

Watson has two taggers - yet McLeod can run and carry unhindered all night.

Go figure.

We can hold our heads up high.......there are a number of senior players though I think need to be looked at and asked the question as to where they want to be in our clubs future.

Seriously, would Bellchambers have offered us much more in the ruck. He is still 1-2 years away from having any kind of impact at this level.

The most concerning part of this game is the complete inability of Jay Neagle to get in the game at all. I mean Hurely hasn't had many opportunities and hasn't got into the game much, but when he has got the opportunity he has still shown something. Neagle on the other hand, I think he has been in the camera shot about 3 times that I've seen and one of those was during the National Amthen. This game has confirmed to me that we have to do everything we can to convince Lloyd to play on next year, and he must be f****** played out of the goal square.

Last quarter of Bombers for 2009. I'm going to enjoy this despite the scoreboard.

It's a learning experience for everyone, the coach included. We remember how last year we were unaccountable and we have fixed that issue up throughout this year and have done it well. Now we just need to get the game plan right. It's all a work in progress. It hurts now to watch this, I'm feeling it too because it's a disappointing way to end the year but for all the adversity we have had all year and to do what we've done in light of that is sensational. 6 months is a long wait but boy will it be worth it. Looking forward to the pre-season, draft some more fantastic young players, get Hille back & Gumby. 30 minutes left :) til pre-season.

Knights tried a one on one approach mid term 3. They are just too strong - easily pushed off their opponents, broke the lines and placed it perfectly for blokes running to space.

Not sure the game plan has or hasn't worked ... most of the players look like bunnies in the headlights - massive stage fright.

Good the see McPhee, Hurley, Hooker, NLM and Slatts having a crack... Dempsy and Winder clearly injured. IMO too many passengers - makes me wonder if there are some players who may not be part of future finals campaigns.

Jazz remind me never to watch a game with you... I'd dead set lay you out before half time... quit your whinging :P

What we're seeing here is a team which is a contender vs a team which in a usual year wouldn't even have made the finals - I'm not devastated by this loss, tho I do wish we'd contended a bit more. This is just the difference between the two teams coming to the fore.

We've played worse! I just... am not looking forward to listening to the sore loser Hawks laughing about it ;)
