The NRL salary cap is really only $4.1 million then a whole shitload of players are playing for a hell of a lot less than thy are worth or every club is rorting the salary cap.

Giventhe list of players the Storm have had over the past 5 years, it boggles my mind that they only rorted the cap by $1.7 million in that time.

No wonder their star players either switch codes (like Rodgers, Tuqiri, Sailor etc) or f*** off overseas (lime Gasiner, Matt King and Barrett) and only come back to the NRL when they can hack it in the other codes or at the end of their careers when the teams in the other leagues are wanting to throw their money at younger superstar players running about being underpaid in the NRL.

Excuse my ignorance, but how many listed players are there in an NRL team?

Not sure he'd be a midfielder. He'd be more suited to running off half-back or a wing.
