It's great to see that the club is so closely aligned to the average fan who has already shelled out a kings ransom to support the team.

Who the f*** has $950 to attend something I would really like to go to let alone $250. Everywhere you turn lately, EFC has its hand out for more cash.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

I got a phone call the other day asking me to buy a one in 1500 ticket, "for the boys", @ $200 for the chance to win $30K.

Feedback was "No thanks. Too expensive".

I think that they get paid enough money to contribute 100% to their end of season holiday. With the money they're on, the days of supporters paying for it should be well passed.

Agree with both of you, absolute F****** rort..

And F-111, if one in 1500 @ $200 is fair dinkum - they are offering a 30 grand prize, when they'll rake in 300 grand if they sell all of the tickets.. kidding aren't they?!

I think I paid around $120 for the Grand Final ticket in 2000, went to the EFC Social Club later that night and got in for free as part of my membership - drank with the boys and touched the premiership cup.

That's all for me. Thanks.

It is something I'd like to go to but not at that price.

Where do you get half a dozen tins for $10?

Can I get you to send me a few hundred over?

That's right. The math is easy.
I wonder if it's a goer, or if the call was some market research? It was finished with a statement like.."for feedback to the club, may I ask why you say no?" "Sure" I said..."too expensive". Left it at that.

I agree.... would be an amazing experience to celebrate the 2000 flag with the boys (and my fave man of course!!) but not if the club is going to charge that much money to attend.
