Never a good thing to lose but Yes very Proud of the way that they fought it out...
Definately going places.
Much improved Team with awesome tackling pressure.
Just need to find a bit more polish but so difficult with Hille and Monfries grounded after half time...
Keep going hard as it is awesome to watch...
Ditto. Well said Filth. =D> Might drop next week as well but we have a pretty good run after the break to make up for the loss / losses. All you can ask for is effort and we got that. Keep it positive in here everyone boys did us proud.
Just a question for anyone who has an answer (knighta?), David Myers has played his best three games for he club the last three weeks from the midfield, so why was he used in the backline today? Even if it was a specific matchup/plan it was obvious very early that he was struggling in this role and that we were also getting smashed in the midfield, partiularly in the clearances, which he had been very good at the past few weeks.
They were very good today but totally unlucky with the run of the ball in the atrocious conditions. They had a real dip and that is all we all ask. Down two men and had Melksham with an ankle. They also had to contend with that series of disgusting umpiring decisions in the last quarter that cost us the game; 1) the holding the ball on Dempsey when not tackled 2) the over the top 100 m penalty ensuing from the rightful complaints 3) the Hurley high tackle decision when he was first to the ball 4) the holding the ball on Myers

Maybe because we are missing Fletch, Hookesy and Stanton.....he had to play back. Howlett plays mid only....Myers both
Still a stupid move. Blind Freddy can see that Myers is not a defender and as Ealsey said, he's been doing a great job in the middle the past few weeks.
If we needed a backline player, bring in T. Slattery.

Not really. He dominated Henry Playfair. Myers might have only had 6 possessions but he kept Playfair to 7 which is all you could ask.
You couldn't fool your own mother on the foolingest day of your life with an electrified fooling machine.
I am still pissed that we lost. That was a game we really needed to win because we know have 2 6-day breaks coming off a hard slog and coming up against Geelong.
