As for Pris.......he needs a good month somewhere else, like Africa because he's doing no f****** good in our team right now.

You are kidding aren't you? That was probably his best game for us, was one of the few players who could hit a target and actually kicked the f****** ball in the 1st half.

Watch the game again and tell me how many times he was indecisive with the ball, never delevered to first option and either muffed a disposal or got caught with the ball.

Watch where he doesn't chase, shepherd, get under packs or provide an attacking lead.

Then watch where he leaves his man to run off him and then he points to three other guys as if it was their fault.

Then I'll look at the three disposals that he got away without any pressure that went over 20 yards between the HBF and wing, after someone else did the hard work for him.

If that was a good game for him, then I wont expect too much more from a guy who came to us with huge wraps as an elite midfielder and a game breaker and I'll leave him alone. His knee certainly can't be restricting the grey matter in his brain for this long, can it?

The Batemen tag on Stanton tonight was good. Off the ball he was a pest, and Stanton was seen to be appealing to the umpires for holding a couple of times. But he didn't do much himself.

Welsh did a job on Hodge tonight too. Welsh took him out of the game. 1 all.

I wish someone had taken Mitchell out of the game, 'cause he was very good in the Q4.

Stanton is pretty much giving us one great game then nothing.

He can't shake a tag - ugly troll Bateman was very good on him last night.

His good games are superb and we go along way to winning but I'm afraid those good games this year are just teasing us.

I wouldn't be crying myself to sleep if Stanton is let go trading time, or decides to go north.

And Stanton gets a hard tag because the opposition knows he can't break it, it is easier to tag him, and he gets alot of cheap kicks. His stats look good, but his actual effect on the game is minimal. Can only hope he has already signed with GC17.

Some people are never satisfied! I thought Stanton did a terrific tagging job on Chance Bateman. Bateman only had 6 disposals and only 50% of them were effective. Well done Stants!

Seriously though, Stants was shithouse last night. Has been ordinary for several weeks, because he can't cope with the tag. But some of you need to work it out. If he is so USELESS as a footballer as you have stated, why is he getting tagged every week? 1. Is he anymore???
2. He isn't putting in the effort required. Someone with his experience in our team and supposedly one of the top players should be leading by example. If he's in a tough situation, ie. a hard tag, play hard and try to beat the tagger. Don't spend the game whinging to the umps and starting little pushing matches with the tagger. When he does that he's beaten before the ball is even bounced.

Thing is though, when a bloke like Stanton does get tagged, the rest of our team does absolutely f*ck all to help him out.
Watch Ablett get tagged - Selwood, Bartel, Corey, etc etc all do little things like bumping and blocking and shepherding to help him.
None of our guys go out of their way to help Stants and that pisses me off as much as anything.
