scumpires

Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

Yes thanks and "reasonable" I guess. I'm waiting for Stevic to umpire us again. Suppose they've worked out he's an Essendon fan and won't allow that.

I always check there and they're slack updating their site.

It's printed in The Age but they don't seem to have the info on their website either.

See that new prick we had last week Corey Bowen has been dropped after his first game.

He " awarded " 3 of the 50 metre penalties & paid the outrageous decision to Watts , which was declared incorrect by that faggot Geishen.

Good bye & good riddance. Don't bother coming back. Definately the worst umpiring exhibition i have seen in 40 years of following the Bombers , but McLaren , Vozzo , McBurney, Nicholls etc are only marginally better.

Another legacy of falling down the ladder is that you tend to get the rookie umpires. Young Bowen must be mighty impressed with the umpiring fraternity who obviously instructed him to harden up on the fifties and when he follows their directions, they drop him.

A lot of the most recent critisicm thrown at the umpires is misdirected and should be laid at the feet of Vlad and Angry. I have no doubt they have a major influence on the direction that umpiring takes as they do over the rules committe as well and the Tribunal.

I am far from an umpires mate, but it must be nearly impossible to impose a set of rules whose interpretation changes on a weekly basis. 50m penalties will be out the window this weekend and they will target whatever Vlad and Angry have dreamt up during the week.

I once worked for a company that, in spite of appalling management, made money hand over fist because the product was so good. The AFL management falls into the same category.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

This week we have Ryan , Nicholls (AKA Simon Overland) & Meredith.

No joy here. Nicholls arsed us last year against Port & Meredith did the same this year against Sydney.

He is the biggest dud on the umpiring list. People think McLaren is a complete imbecile (which he is), but this bloke is the umtimate incompetent braindead moron.
