Kníght's post match interview..

Post by auditor »

Knight's has proven to me that he is oblivious to his teams needs on match day.
During his post match interview he mentions, as a throwaway line that "We didn't see it coming" Now I read that as to we didn't see that Carlton were going to flog us in the last 1/4 and when any team gets on the front foot against us then we have no plan to stop it.
Well you know what Matt that there is the problem in a nutshell.
The inability to react to a situation during a game will cost you as it has all year.
Now Whether it is the coaching staffs pre match planning or not, this one comment says it all about the club at the moment. This is the first time this year I have heard those comments from him but let us use the same philosophy in other matches this year shall we?

Geelong R1 "We didn't see it coming"
Dockers R2 "We didn't see it coming"
West Coast R4 "We didn't see it coming"
Collingwood R5 "We didn't see it coming"
Pt Adelaide R7 "We didn't see it coming"
Hawthorn R13 "We didn't see it coming"
Adelaide R14 "We didn't see it coming"
Melbourne R15 "We didn't see it coming"
West Coast R16 "We didn't see it coming"
Carlton R19 "We didn't see it coming"

I know that we have had some good wins too this year as well as other loses, but I have to admit and thanks to Matt, I can now understand why we are in the position we are,"We didn't see it coming"

The sad thing is a lot of people did see it all coming.

Game plan, skill development, and selection policies all needing a lot of attention.

And "we didn't stick to our structures" and "we didn't execute the game plan".
