Membership Survey

Post by Ronny Rotten »

Just received a request from EFC to complete a survey on the past season. I have done these in the past but this one is very comprehensive, covering numerous performances of the club at all levels.

For Example:
The speed that you received your membership package : (Very Slow)
Satisifaction of response when/if you contacted the club. Was the staff helpful ? (What response? Could'nt get through on phone or having to wait on hold, worse than calling a Telco )

Were you satisified with the ladder position of EFC? (As if)
Were you satisified with effort of the players?
Were you satisified the team performance?
Were you satisified with the function of the Board?
Were you satisified that the club kept members informed of Administrative decisions?
Are you likely to rejoin next year ? (????)
What does Essendon stand for & What comes to mind when you think Essendon. (too much handball ha )
What do you think of Ethihad Stadium as a home ground? (Lets get back to MCG....... NOW ..... ASAP)

Overall a wide ranging survey. Love to see the final results. Hope the club is game enough to publish them to see how the members really think of EFC this year.

All talk no action!

I put my 2 cents in, but nothing will be done. It is a PR exercise so it looks like they are actually doing something!

After the Knights debacle, this club almost went over the edge and into the Abyss - it was a HUGE wake up call and I am pretty certain they are taking everything VERY VERY SERIOUSLY

We are not out of the woods but I personally like the fact that they are being proactive and involving the members.

Been filling out these surveys for EFC for a few years now.

The main points I stressed in this year's response were:

1/ Etihad is costing us membership growth.
2/ The membership package balls-up this year MUST NOT be repeated.
3/ Consistency of team performance is something all Essendon fans are looking for.
My material isn't very good..Oh...and then there's the bladder problem.
