Talk about everything Essendon. Past, Present and Future if it's about the Bombers this is the place to be.

I'm hearing it's Pendlebury, and I am hearing it from more than one source. Don't like our chances though.
I heard the same thing. Source is a mate who heard it from a dude he knows who saw it on a forum, so more of a trade zephyr. Deal alegedly Licha, Houi and a draft pick.

That was just some bullshit made up on bomberblitz, to see if the media would go for it! Looks lke its worked ;)

dunno about that one, sure we have Pears and Hurley but Hooker would be great as a 3rd or allowing Hurley to go forward.... i guess we'll find out reasons why if it happens
This would not worry me unduly. Hooker has too many "Slattery" moments and I cannot see any amount of training to overcome the fact that the guy is a bit clumsy. Tries his guts out but sometimes that is just not enough.
Too far for Baker now he's on to it, now he’s got it, OPEN GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Dons are in front by one point at the 8 minute mark

I die a bit inside everytime I seem him in yellow and brown. Why couldn't we have held onto Sheedy for 1 more year? There is no way he would have passed him up!

No we couldn't have, he would've cost us pick 6 in the ND. We could've had him for less than he would now cost us, but we couldn't have had him free.

what the media being fooled is twitter? you do understand how twitter works right? there is two way communication between punters and the media.

AFAIK No media outlet has reported Pendlebury is likely to move or is even considered for a trade.

twitter is great for gossip, and if you are look carefully at the source you may get some 'truths'...but 99% of it is bullshit.

its for twits

If you want to get technical, then yeh, he would've cost pick 6 in the draft...but i really didnt think anyone was going to get technical, so didn't mention it ;)

Haha...what a pisser! I can just see it - Ryan Gamble and Eddie Betts working well in tandem. Fevola would be wishing he was still there!

in other words a total lie made up by someone on the interweb?

only fringe players are going to get traded. and thats the usual nearly every trade week.

if a very good player from any side in the AFL was considering a move, it would be 1 back page news in all the rags and 2 there would be a conga line up clubs lining up for his services. just like it was for Judd when he moved.

the only other exception I can think of is Fevola recently...and he was damaged goods.

I think Hooker will be good, but with Pears and Hurley (and Ryder?) I think we can afford to trade Hooker and if that helps our midfield: do it.
Aaron Francis is the Messiah.

I agree but i doubt it will happen this year. Hooker is contracted for 2011 but no doubt if some of the other talls on our list get up and going next season (Darcy Daniher in particular) then Hooker could have some real trade value at the end of next year.

GWS perhaps???
